VECA Welcome Center

The VECA Welcome Center at 1680 Jackson Ave is an exciting transformation of what was formerly an office of the association.  Now, it is a place for an increasing number of neighborhood activities.  Many meetings take place at the Welcome Center.  Residents who want to work on issues meet at the office. Rhodes College students working on community projects use the building and help staff the office. The Welcome Center  is the “crossroads” and “hub” of VECA.

Volunteers are needed to contribute time to help staff the center, and VECA members are asked to contribute to the costs of the center, such as the mortgage payment, utilities, and maintenance.
