Newsletter

Published by VECA through the support of our advertisers, the VECA Voice is our community’s quarterly magazine. We tell the stories of our community; about its people, places, and history - as well as important community information, resources, and updates.

VECA Voice is available online and in-print at local shops, stores, and gathering places. Our advertisers and VECA make it all possible.

Advertise

VECA Voice offers local businesses a great way to reach our dynamic and diverse community. We offer a great selection of ad sizes, reasonable rates, and tie-ins such as our weekly e-newsletter called VECA Spotlight, social media, events, and more. Learn more about Advertising here.

Get Involved in our Publication

Our publications rely on volunteers just like you to make the come to life. From editorial and artwork to distribution and more, volunteers are at the core of our publications and they have been going all the way back to 1971! There are several ways to get involved and contribute to VECA Voice and our weekly e-newsletter:

  • Sending us news stories and tips, even if you prefer not to write it.

  • Sharing something in our community that deserves a shout out.

  • Pitching a story that you think our community needs to know about and you’re willing to write.

  • Donate artwork, photography, graphic design, or your ad sales skills.

  • Become an advertiser or recommend advertising to your favorite business.

  • Help with our distribution to local gathering places, businesses, and organizations.

If you know a spot in our community where distribution makes sense and can help us out with distribution to it - please contact us.

Back Issues

VECA has published a newsletter continuously since 1971! Originally it was called the Evergreen News, then the Vollintine Evergreen News, and since 2020 - the VECA Voice. PDF copies are available of every issue on our ARCHIVES page and are great for researching our history and the community.
