Board of Adjustment (BOA)

The public meeting will be open to the public, and all testimonies shall be made in person during the meeting.

The Memphis & Shelby County Board of Adjustment (BOA) was established in 1925 by a Private Act passed by the Tennessee General Assembly.  The BOA hears the following five types of requests:

● Variances
● Conditional Use Permits
● Appeals
● Extensions of Zoning District Boundaries
● Nonconforming Use Permits
