Every year, we engage in meaningful initiatives like school supply drives and the maintenance of our cherished local green spaces, including the scenic “Green Triangles.”
Our efforts extend to providing affordable housing, actively participating in Memphis Landmarks Commission meetings, and proudly up-keeping the Welcome Center on Jackson Ave. We also bring joy and beauty to our neighborhood through various events, holiday celebrations, and beautification projects.

As we mark this milestone year, we’re asking for your help to make VECA stronger than ever. This year, we aim to raise $55,000 to continue our vital work of preserving and improving our neighborhood. Your support is essential to making this happen, whether through a donation, membership, or volunteerism. In honor of our 55th anniversary, we encourage contributions featuring “55” in the amount (such as $55, $155, or even $555).

When you join, renew, or gift a membership at the
VECA Supporter level ($75 level or more), you can receive or give our iconic tile plaque, which is perfect for display indoors or outdoors.

How to Join or Renew by Mail
✅ Print the 2024-25 VECA Flyer (includes a detachable membership form!)
✅ Complete the form with your details
✅ Mail it in with your check OR drop it off at the VECA Welcome Center (1680 Jackson Avenue, Memphis, TN 38107)
Other Ways to Support VECA
Kroger Rewards: If you shop at Kroger, you can give us a portion of most purchases. Sign in or enroll in the Kroger Rewards Program here and select VECA (code is 18512) as your charity.
United Way: Does your employer have an employee giving program that allows you to make charitable contributions to United Way of the Mid-South? If so, you can choose to have your donation support VECA. Ask your Human Resources or personnel department for details.
